Peng Geng
Artist statement

My work explores human beliefs and spiritual worlds through the lens of religious history. I believe that art is an important medium for the transmission and preservation of human culture, and thus my creations often draw inspiration from and reference various religious and cultural heritages.

In my recent works, I have been exploring the relationships between individuals and society through different interactive methods, including but not limited to as audience participation. In this rapidly changing and developing world, I believe that we need to re-examine our relationship with society and find a balance between the dichotomies that exist in freedom and constraints, individuality and community, and meaningfulness and meaninglessness.

My work promotes participation and collaboration, allowing the viewer to leave their unique mark on a collective work. This work highlights that everyone has their own style and personality and can contribute to a common goal. In this way, we can view each participant as a synonym , with each one interconnected to form a vibrant and diverse artwork.

At the same time, this work also makes us reflect on the importance of social and interpersonal relationships.Every person who survives in society needs socialization and communication. Through All unknown materials or ideas, I aim to build connections and interactions with others to achieve our goals and broad values as humans achieving our goals and values.
